Give a Damn Give a Can Appeal

This year’s collection raised nearly $8000 worth of canned goods.  All the cans collected have been given to St Patrick’s Community Support Centre to help feed people living in the community who are homeless.

Thank you for your generosity.

Lost Property

The Conference Room looks like a second-hand clothes store with the amount of lost property collected over the past month, which has coincided with the colder weather and Hoodie season. The strategy of returning lost property is not effective in the long term as students need take responsibility for all their possessions.

Message from the Environment Team – with un-named fleeces from this week

Each Australian consumes an average of 27 kilograms of new clothing per year and disposes an average 23 kilograms of clothing to landfill each year, that is nowhere near what we want. As an Environment team we’re trying to help reduce landfill. Please make sure your uniform items and any rain jackets and shoes are named. Check lost property for your missing uniform items regularly, donate outgrown clothes to friends, family or op shops and school uniform items can be recycled at the school.

Kiss and Drop on Osborne Road

We are still receiving reports of parents parking in the Kiss and Drop and leaving their vehicle unattended, usually in the mornings.  The drive through area is a 2 minute drop off and collection point.  Please do not use this area as a parking bay. Staff and the Rangers will be monitoring the area over the next few weeks, and we are working to long-term solution in the future.

Have a great weekend!
