5 May 2022

Mother’s Day is upon us and I am looking forward to seeing all the mums on Friday morning enjoying a brew from the world-renowned DoRKS Barrister. The weather looks like it will be spectacular, as we wish all mums a great day. I will remind all students it is for the whole day not just a cup of tea and breakfast!

Join us Friday 6th May, 8am to 9am in the quad.

Free coffee for all Mums!

ANZAC Day

It was great that the ANZAC Assembly was the first whole school event, which was respectful and well led from our Student Councillors.  I would like to thank parents for making the wreaths and the support of the Bicton / Palmyra RSL. The setting was very fitting, and it was great to see so many parents in attendance.

 COVID

The school has experienced a higher number of positive COVID cases for both students and staff which has coincided with the easing of restrictions. We are covering all absences of staff; however, it is proving problematic getting the same relief teacher for the entire week. This is due to demand for relief staff at a system level. It is important that parents inform the school if students are COVID positive or Close Contacts as we report back to the Education department and this also enables us to monitor clusters in classrooms.
