11 September 2020

Today we enjoyed our first real assembly in some time.  Sixty-three year 3 students performed ‘Aliens Love Underpants’, which was very entertaining and full of fun. Thank you to the year 3 parents who came along and socially distanced, and well done to our year 3 team.

The next assembly will be performed by room 4 and room 3 students on the last day of term. It will again be by ticket, as we have limited seats due to phase 4 restrictions and teachers will distribute tickets closer to the time.  That day will be Footy Colours Day and children are invited to wear their team’s colours (any sport) and to bring a gold coin for charity.  It will be a lovely way to end the term.

All of our scheduled assemblies are on under the information tab above.

It’s athletics season and this week, years 3-6 participated in field events, cheered on by parents. We had great weather each day and everyone enjoyed it.  Thanks to everyone who came along to watch.

We’re all looking forward to our main athletics carnival at Gil Fraser in North Fremantle, next Wednesday and the program of events is here:  athletics program.

It’d be great if everyone could bring small change to the refreshment stall, and there will be a 50c discount with every tea or coffee purchased if you byo cup.  It also may be a good idea to bring a chair and rug.

Phase 4 restrictions will apply. That is 1.5 physical distancing and personal hygiene measures, and we will have hand sanitiser available.  We will have a designated parent area on the outside of the track.  Children will be in their faction tents on the inside of the track.  They will be able to join you for lunch, otherwise, for our duty of care, they must stay in their faction area.

Hopefully it will be sunny and an enjoyable day out for the Richmond community.

Enjoy the weekend!
