Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to the ongoing success of Richmond Primary School this year. Thanks to all parents, who support Richmond Primary School tirelessly. Special mention to the two parent representative groups – the P&C and the School Council – and all their subcommittees, with whom I work very closely.
The P&C has organised many community events over the year which have all been extremely well organised and supported. The School Council works tirelessly and professionally on governance and innovation. Both groups are so easy to work with. Please do consider becoming more involved in the school by joining one of these groups in 2019. Both AGMs are on our calendar.
Thank you to my amazing staff of 42 people who work so hard every day to make this a special and positive place for Richmond students. Just one staff member is leaving this year: Nicole Walsh who is moving to Scotland. We thank her for her amazing work and positive nature and will really miss her. Our new teacher will be Andrew Townsend, who comes to us from North Fremantle PS. We very much look forward to working with him.

Finally, to help less privileged students, today and tomorrow there will be boxes in the quad to collect unwanted textas, pencils, and crayons. These items will be taken to Bali next year, by Mrs Maloney, and delivered to schools where the children do have not have this type of stationery. Last year’s items were delivered to children living in remote parts of Nusa Penida and the children were so excited to receive them. Many thanks for dropping off your items.
Have a safe and happy holiday break, we look forward to seeing students again on Monday February 4th, 2019.
