Kindergarten Start Days: Kangaroos Monday 1 February, Koalas Thursday 4 February; Kookaburras Wednesday 3 February
Term 2: Tuesday 20 April – Friday 2 July
Term 3: Tuesday 20 July – 24 September
Term 4: Tuesday 12 October – Thursday 16 December
Student free days
There are six school development days in WA government schools in 2021. Students do not attend on these days and staff are involved in planning, review and professional learning. Two of these days are before the school year starts for students and one day is after the school year ends for students. Each school schedules another three days throughout the year.
