I had the pleasure of attending the Yr6 camp at Point Peron this week and participating in an action-packed program. The students were challenged with activities and worked in teams through several activities. It was fantastic to see how all our students encouraged each other and represented Richmond Primary. We received great feedback from the Camp Supervisors about the group and the respect and support they gave each other. Camps are 24 /7 responsibility for staff attending and the volunteers. I know I speak for all the parents in thanking Mr Tiffin, Miss Burke, Anna, and Mike. Your collective efforts are valued.
This week the year 6’s went on a fabulous camp in Point Peron. We left on Monday the 6th of November, knowing that it would be a long-lasting memory, that we would all never forget. When we arrived in Point Peron on Monday, we were all bursting with excitement ready to start our first activity.
Our first activity was a super fun scavenger hunt. The instructors where super nice to us all and help us all make our camp such a memorable moment. We had amazing food and more then amazing activities. All the groups went kayaking, snorkelling, raft building, beach activities, rock climbing, rope climbing, ladder climbing, abseiling, crate climbing/crate building, team games.
We all had such a fun time, and most of us participated in every activity. We would like to thank Mr T for organising/planning this amazing memory for all the year 6’s.
We would also like to thank all the volunteers that came on the camp with us Miss Burke, Anna, and Mike for coming along and playing a big part in making this year’s camp so incredibly special for the year 6’s. There are also a few more people that came a visited us at Point Peron including, Mr Mackesey, Mrs Button, Mr Pring, Miss Schwaiger, Mr Carder, Mrs Holst-Marsh.

Remembrance Day
We recognised Remembrance Day at school today with staff discussing the importance of the day with students. We are fortunate to live in the safest country in the world given the ongoing hostilities occurring throughout the world.
Paddock to Plate
After the harvest (mostly lettuce) of the vegetable garden last week. We set out a challenge to the students to send in a healthy salad created from the produce, Well done to our following budding Chefs. Our canteen also used the produce in the healthy chicken wraps.
